I (Paul Doherty) founded Hanhi (pronounced hɑnç̞i in IPA) in the July of 2016 when I was sixteen. I, like many other self-taught programmers, was frustrated at the requirement of a traditional education or prior experience needed to get a job as a programmer. Thus, I created a system based off of the Ludum Dare to allow employers to have their own system for reviewing the quality of employees without looking at their resumes.
I named it Hanhi after the Finnish word for a goose.
